- Design and implement one or more comprehensive database(s) for managing aspects of the Littoral Combat Ship Sustainment Program, including Modernization Planning, Trial Card Management, and Hazard Assessment Reporting.
- Develop VBA code in MS Office to automate data collection and integration processes for the Littoral Combat Ship Sustainment Program Office.
- Work with staff to learn and understand processes and problems, identify client requirements and design solutions.
- Convert data sources to interface/link with Microsoft Access and/or Excel.
- Overlay and compile data from various databases and historic sources into a single cohesive picture utilizing data tables, visualization and charts.
- Produce reports on budget forecasts and status of availability planning milestones.
- Lead/Conduct training on MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint automation techniques.
- Examine data sets to uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations, trends, and other useful information to improve program office decision making.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expert Proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications.
- Must know how to link data between Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Outlook
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
